To me, being an artist feels like being a kaleidoscope. Everything I make starts with elements outside of me, and I shift and arrange them to seek beauty and new facets of understanding. Each of my collages is shaped by an amalgamation of pieces of life that sit and distill within me until that distillation is ready to take tangible form through magazine cuttings, paint, glass, and more. Simple elements, rich color, and ambiguous emotions repeatedly emerge as I look for a balance between freedom and control in the self-made complexities of life..

My inspiration comes from seeing others express themselves with complete sincerity.
